C.N.H.S Music Department Attendance Policy
2018-19
To protect the integrity and pride of all individual students and performing ensembles in general, it is important for students and parents to acknowledge the following policy: All music department performances and rehearsals are mandatory for participating students. Students must email conflicts at least 24 hours before the scheduled practice and as far in advance as possible (at least a week) for missing a performance. An absence will only be excused for the following reasons:
Illness, injury, SAT's/mandatory testing, a funeral or a director approved absence (ex: sport conflict, etc.)
For students enrolled in class, each unexcused absence from a performance will result in a 0 for a weekly grade. For extra-curricular students, 3 Unexcused absences will result in removal from the ensemble.
